All registered service tax businesses\u00a0must comply with this adjustment in March. However,\u00a0the following industries that registered service tax businesses: catering, telecommunications, parking services, and logistics will not increase the service tax.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Credit cards and debit cards remain subject to an annual service tax of RM25.<br \/>In addition to the increase in service tax to 8%, starting from March 2024, the industries registered\u00a0service tax also will expand:\u00a0logistics services, karaoke establishments, financial and underwriting services, and delivery services (excluding food delivery).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8212;&#8212;All terms are subject to LHDN&#8217;s approval&#8212;&#8212;-<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The government has announced that the service tax will increase from 6% to 8% starting March 2024.
